Baby Boomer and Retirement Income Specialist Matching Service Goes Live in New Jersey
The first free online matching service designed to help baby boomers find retirement income specialists in their local communities is now available throughout New Jersey. Annuity123, the online retirement income educational portal, has opened their Annuity Harmony matching service for the benefit of all of New Jersey’s residents who are in need of retirement income planning guidance.
This innovative online matching service is aimed to match baby boomers and retirees with annuity and retirement income specialists whose practice is in their local area. Annuity123, owned by Annuity Think Tank, has recently launched an interactive and educational website on everything about retirement income and annuities. The goal of Annuity123 is to provide free retirement education for consumers in while also providing them a site to locate the best retirement income and annuity specialists in/near their city. Annuity Harmony, the free matching service in Annuity123, was created to enable the consumer to browse through available retirement and annuity specialists in their area to see if they are compatible, before ever having to meet with them face to face.
Over 30 years ago Americans were forced by their employers to forego attractive and successful defined benefit pension plans for contribution 401k plans. At the time, the oldest baby boomers were new to the work force, low on savings, and had no way of knowing what lay ahead for them. Today’s baby boomers and soon to be retirees are riddled with fear and anxiety about outliving their savings and income. However, only a small portion of these soon to be retirees are prepared for this. The next decade will reveal just how real this problem is, and how important it is to alleviate the upcoming income shortfalls.
By first educating New Jersey consumers, and then matching them up with experts in their area for further advice, Annuity123 hopes to make a big impact in the retirement field. The Annuity123 designers found that there was no great system in place to make sure consumers were able to be fully informed of how annuity products work as well as how many specialists are in their respective cities.
